Electrical and Electronic Equipment – Information according to the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste.
Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment separately from unsorted municipal waste. Old devices can be returned to municipal collection points or appropriate return facilities.
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin on electrical and electronic equipment indicates that the respective device must be disposed of separately from household waste at the end of its service life.
Old devices may contain valuable resources that can be recycled. At the same time, they may also contain hazardous substances that can harm the environment and human health if disposed of improperly.
As an end user, you are obliged to separate used batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed by the device from the old device before returning it to a collection point.
Please note that you are responsible for deleting any personal data stored on the devices to be disposed of.
